Description
 
Direct and manage network and computer security for the organization’s university affiliate (ECPI) at the enterprise level, to ensure that information assets and associated technology, applications, systems, infrastructure, and processes are adequately protected in the digital ecosystem in which the university operates, working individually and as part of a team, using advanced knowledge of security technologies and concepts including security audits, security compliance, security engineering, security analysis, security project management, and security architecture, and using technologies including Windows, Cisco, Unix, and Palo Alto at a global enterprise level. Duties include developing and implementing strategies for the continuing evolution of existing comprehensive campus-wide information security and IT risk management programs to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information owned, controlled, or processed by the university, including compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements of FERPA, GLBA, and HIPAA; leading and empowering a dynamic team to oversee information security monitoring, vendor risk management, risk assessments and standards, and incident management; developing, publishing, and maintaining up-to-date security policies, standards, and guidelines; overseeing training and dissemination of security policies and practices; developing and enhancing an up-to-date information security management framework based on National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards and controls; measuring security risks and identifying strategies to implement the best practices, tools, and technology for the best business outcome based on a broad range of internal and external factors; forming and driving IT security initiatives throughout the organization; managing security vendors that perform security, risk, and vulnerability assessment; working with other IT, administrative, and academic teams to align technology design choices with security priorities; responding to compliance-related queries as they apply to information security and risk; leading the resolution of identified security threats and events in the environment, working across IT teams to ensure resolution; formulating and clearly communicating highly technical and complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences regarding topics such as installing and managing firewalls, web application firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, and other network and information security tools and technologies; conducting HECVAT assessment of technology products used; leading information security planning processes to establish an inclusive and comprehensive information security program for the entire institution in support of academic and administrative information systems and technology; developing and maintaining a document framework of continuously up-to-date information security policies, standards, and guidelines; approving and publishing these information security policies and practices; creating education and awareness programs and advising operating units at all levels on security issues, best practices, and vulnerabilities; developing and overseeing effective disaster recovery policies and standards to align with business continuity management program goals; coordinating the development and implementation of incident response plans to ensure that business-critical services are recovered in the event of a security event; providing direction and leadership to the IT security team, including mentorship to team members and other IT staff; coordinating and tracking all IT and security related audits, including scope of audits, colleges and units involved, timelines, auditing agencies, and outcomes.
 
 
Requirements
 
Position requires (1) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field. (2) CompTIA Network+ Certification. (3) 2 years of experience in a college or university computer systems security architect position, to include all of the following: using advanced knowledge of security technologies and concepts, including security audits, security compliance, security engineering, security analysis, security project management, and security architecture; installing and managing firewalls, web application firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers; using technologies including Windows, Cisco, Unix, and Palo Alto at a global enterprise level; measuring security risks and identifying strategies to implement the best practices, tools, and technology for the best business outcome based on a broad range of internal and external factors; formulating and clearly communicating highly technical and complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences; implementing NIST standards and controls; assessing compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements of FERPA, GLBA, and HIPAA; and working independently and as part of a team. (4) Must be able to perform periodic evening and weekend assignments as needed.

Description
 
Responsible for developing, designing, and administrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) CRM enterprise system and Microsoft Business Applications solutions for a university client, providing end-to-end implementation and support to internal and external end-users, maintaining a complete understanding of the organization’s D365 environment and related services, and serving as key point of contact for all D365 issues, incidents, and enhancement requests. Duties include working with multiple departments, as well as employees of affiliated entities to consult on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Online upgrades for sales, marketing, and field service modules; gathering and documenting business requirements from departments and users and creating specifications for solutions; reviewing required documents and performing systems analysis; building new business models including CEU management and inventory management; performing full lifecycle development for systems applications; creating dashboards, reports with SSRS, and Word templates; developing and implementing complex out-of-the-box plug-in customizations/configurations, custom workflows, and Web APIs; developing client end customization with JavaScript and REST and achieving Fetch/Create/Update actions; developing and maintaining Scribe solutions to integrate D365 with other platforms; integrating CRM with other platforms and web applications including Alvara, Great Plaines, Adaptive Insight, and Power BI; designing new business process flows that help each department work smoothly; providing user support and training for end-users; working independently and as part of a team to establish workflows, determine priorities, and develop and design CRM solutions; and using tools and technologies including .NET, C#, JavaScript to code from scratch, SQL, SQL Server, Web APIs, WPF, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Software Development Kit, and Scribe.
 
 
Requirements
 
Position requires (1) Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field. (2) 24 months of work experience in a CRM developer/analyst position to develop and design CRM solutions and end-to-end implementations at the enterprise level for university services, to include: a. Consulting on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Online upgrades for sales, marketing, and field service modules; b. Interacting with users to gather requirements and create specifications; c. Working independently and as part of a team to establish workflows, determine priorities, and develop and design CRM solutions; d. Developing and implementing complex out-of-the-box plug-in customizations/configurations; e. Integrating CRM with other platforms and web applications including Alvara, Great Plaines, Adaptive Insight, and Power BI; and f. Using .NET, C#, JavaScript to code from scratch, SQL, SQL Server, Web APIs, WPF, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Software Development Kit, and Scribe. (3) Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: Dynamics 365. (4) Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Business Applications. (5) Successful completion of background check.
